Amy Stevenson
Amy is a mixed methods researcher based at the University of Glasgow. She has experience working in both the public sector and academia. As an Information Analyst at Public Health Scotland, she worked in clinical audits and place-based analysis. She is interested in research which: seeks to move concepts from theory to praxis whilst accounting for complexity; explores implementation gaps; and involves working with diverse stakeholders.
Her PhD looks at the relationship between feminist city planning and health and wellbeing, seeking to identify key indicators which can be used to track progress towards creating more inclusive cities. This has involved three stages: a systematic review, a Delphi Survey, and a GIS study.
Outside of work, she is usually either exploring the Scottish wilderness with her dog, or at home attempting an overly-ambitious vegan baking recipe.
