Beth is a mixed methods researcher, primarily specialising in qualitative research methods and evaluation. Beth has a strong background in maternal health, evaluation methodology, and health systems research. Beth previously worked at Kings College London, in the Institute of Women and Children’s Health, Kings Health Partners where she conducted programme and policy evaluations for partners across Southeast London, with a focus on women’s health. Prior to this, Beth worked at the University of Oxford, Department of Primary Healthcare, on a range of maternal health projects, as well as hypertension, polypharmacy, and implementation science. She achieved a DPhil (PhD) in Primary Healthcare Sciences from the University of Oxford, with a thesis focusing on the self-management of hypertensive pregnancies.
Beth’s research interests include maternal health, reproductive health, surveillance and risk, self-management, and policy/programme evaluation.
